We first met as teenagers, never imagining life would bring us back together. Through life's challenges, career changes, and years of growth, we discovered our greatest joy wasn't found in where we'd been—it was found in building a life together. Today, we're grateful to call the Florida Panhandle home once again.

I proudly served in the United States Coast Guard before building a career in operations and leadership, while Malinda has spent more than two decades caring for others as a nurse. Together, we've blended and strengthened our family through the same values we share.

The Rising Blue honors the generations who came before us and celebrates the people, values, and simple way of life that make the Florida Panhandle home. We hope every visit leaves you feeling like part of our family.

Malinda is the heart of The Rising Blue and the glue that keeps our family connected. As a nurse and lifelong learner pursuing her next degree, she brings compassion, optimism, and steady leadership to everything she does. Whether she's exploring the outdoors, traveling, enjoying the beach, or taking her Jeep down a back road, she's happiest when she's creating memories with the people she loves.

"Serving others. Building a legacy"

Blue is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran who believes in hard work, strong coffee, and doing things the right way. His love for the water, attention to detail, and passion for building lasting traditions help shape the vision behind The Rising Blue. When he's not working, you'll likely find him cheering on Florida State football, enjoying life outdoors, or keeping everyone laughing with one of his jokes.

REESE

Chief Morale Officer

"Professional greeter. Expert squirrel patrol"

Every family business needs someone in charge of morale, and Reese takes his job very seriously. This gentle-but-fierce Doberman believes every visitor is a friend, every couch is his couch, and personal space is highly overrated. Whether he's standing watch over the family or trying to convince everyone he's a lapdog, Reese reminds us that home is wherever your people are.

Gianna brings creativity, heart, and plenty of personality to The Rising Blue. As a student at Southeastern University and President's List honoree, she combines her passion for storytelling with a love for people, animals, sourdough, and her faith. Whether she's baking, creating content, spending time with the people she loves, or talking about her love for Louisiana, her joyful spirit reminds us not to take life too seriously.

An accounting graduate of Oral Roberts University, Ana keeps The Rising Blue grounded with her analytical mind and thoughtful approach. She enjoys photography, cooking, traveling, and a competitive game of pickleball, but nothing means more to her than spending time with her husband and family. Her sense of humor and steady perspective help keep both the numbers—and the family—on track.

Rae brings energy, creativity, and a love for the coastal lifestyle that was inspired by the The Rising Blue. A Florida State University student and President's List honoree, she has a passion for fashion, travel, and discovering the latest trends. Whether she's spending time at the beach, with her sorority sisters, or preparing for graduate school, Rae is always looking ahead to what's next.
